Mrs. Ada Jeanette Mitchell Flippo, age 83, of Rome formerly of Jasper, Al, passed away Monday July 9, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Flippo was born February 15, 1935 in Jasper, Al, a daughter of the late R. D. Mitchell, and Pearl A. Baldwin Mitchell. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from Lee Jeans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynold J. Flippo, daughter Pamela Flippo, brother, Jerry Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Lynn, Sharon Kyner, grandchildren, Arthur Kyner, Jackson Kyner, John Lynn, and Richard Lynn, great granddaughter, Meredith Lynn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday July 12, 2018 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Dale Levan, and Rex Lynn officiating. Interment will follow in Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Cordova, Al.
