Alisha Cross Obituary
Alisha Evon Cross, 56, of Rome, beloved daughter of Leon Cross and the late Edna Cross, made the trip she had been waiting on….. to her new home…… where her older sister Angela Ann resides.
A native of Columbus, Missisippi, Angela was born August 5, 1961. She was a graduate of Coosa High School, the University of Georgia, and received her RN degree from Jones County Junior College. Prior to becoming disabled, Alisha was employed as an RN with Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was a strong willed, yet pleasant person who would do anything for her friends and family. She loved dogs, and enjoyed writing and singing songs.
She leaves her father; brother Lee Alan (Tammy); sister Donna Kay Bush (Edmond) and her true love James "Sonny" Small III with whom she shared many cherished moments.
"Get prepared and I'll see you there. I love you all."
A Celebration of Life is planned for 12 noon Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Lakeview Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11 until 12 noon Saturday at the church.
