Buford Lamar Braden

Mr. Buford Lamar Braden, age 79, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015 in a local medical center.

Mr. Braden was born January 6, 1936, in Floyd County, a son of the late Dewey Wilson Braden, and Alice Autry Braden. He was a member of Plainville Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Braden was employed by Klompan Mills for many years and later retiring from Georgia Kraft after over 30 years of service, he loved gardening, hunting, and fishing. Mr. Braden was preceded by his wife to whom was married January 14, 1956, Betty Jackson Braden on February 20, 2001.

Survivor include, two sons, Keith Braden and his wife, Mary, Adairsville; Rickey Braden, and his wife, Karen, Adairsville; brother, Jerry W. Braden, and his wife, Anna Marie, Summerville; grandchildren, Zack Braden, Casey Atkinson, Valerie Braden, Melissa Braden, and Jackson Braden, 7, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 7, 2015 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday November 6, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
