Doyle Griggs Obituary
Doyle Griggs, age 67, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 24, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.
A native of Floyd County, Mr. Griggs was born June 29, 1950 son of Thelma "Brown" Carroll Griggs and the late William Griggs. He attended Coosa High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Griggs was employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation and the City of Rome. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and walking in the woods.
Survivors include his wife Melanie Boggus- Griggs, to whom he was married December 6, 1979; mother Thelma "Brown" Griggs, and a nephew Jason Griggs.
Memorial services will be conducted at 12 Noon Friday, December 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Newberry officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 AM until the service hour. Please visit our website www.goodshepherdfh.net to post tributes.
