Doyle Sprayberry Obituary
Doyle Sprayberry, age 62, of Coosa passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon April 14, 2015 at a local hospital.
A native of Floyd County,Mr. Sprayberry was born November 5, 1952 son of the late Roy and Julia Smith Sprayberry. He was employed with Richard Reece Trucking and "worked all the time". He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved any type of animal, including a pet rooster at one time. Doyle Sprayberry was a "one of a kind" man. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and four brothers Jack, Lafon, Bud, and Birrell Sprayberry and six sisters Maybelle Hawkins, Dot Salmon, Mozelle Brownlow, Betty Lou Lee, Sue Williams, and Barbara Jean Sprayberry. His dog Tyler also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Ann Kilgo Sprayberry; daughter Ashley (Kyle) Hubbard; two sons Bradley and Brian Sprayberry; threegrandsons Cody, Nicholas, and Kevin; granddaughter Kayla and great granddaughters Ava and Riley; two sisters Mary Jo Momon and Margie Tolbert, two brothers Richard and James (JR) Sprayberry ; sister in law Stacy Reid and brother in law Greg Jones.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 7 P.M. Friday April 17, 2015 at the Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverends Dale Byars, Ricky Studdard, and Scott Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 7 P.M. at Parnick Jennings Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude's Memorial Hospital for Children.
