Glenda Fay Wells, age 57, of Kingston passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in an Atlanta hospital.
A native of Bartow County, Ms. Wells was born March 29, 1958 daughter of the late Charles "Buddy" Allmon and Betty Jean Grant Allmon. She had been employed with Lewis Carpet and enjoyed reading, her computer, and horror movies. Ms. Wells loved cats and her grandchildren, and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by twin sons William and Wayne Wells.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law Rella and Oscar Hall; four grandchildren Travis Wells, Tyler, Daniel, and Makenzie Hall. Brothers Charles "Buddy" Allmon, David Allmon, Earl Allmon, Lee Allmon, and Andy Allmon. , Jr. Sister Mary Jean Allmon and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 P.M. Friday, February 26 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM Friday. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
