Jeff Nolan Obituary
Jeff Nolan, age 58, of the Brookwood Estates Community, Rome passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015.
Jeff was born January 17, 1958, son of J.D. Nolan, Sr. and the late Juanita Garrett Nolan. He was a 1976 graduate of Coosa High School and had received extensive training in the electrical, security, biohazard, and maintenance trades. Jeff loved old cars and motorcycles and was a natural problem solver. He saw the potential in everything, whether it was something he found on the roadside or another human being. He loved his wife, boys, and grandchild and took joy in being helpful and compassionate towards others. Mr. Nolan was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Nolan.
Survivors include his wife, Tara Cranford Nolan, to whom he was married October 27, 1984; Four children Ryan (Tessa) of California, Russell (Griffin) of Rome, Corey of New York, and Nick of Rome. Also surviving are grandchild Graysen Nolan of California, Jeff's parents J.D. and Christine Nolan, and brothers and sisters Patrice Nolan White of Marietta, Tommy Blankenship, and Barbara Earle, both of Rome. Many other special relatives survive on both the Nolan and Cranford sides of Jeff's family.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the North Broad Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome.
