Jerry Wayne Gilham, age 67, of Centre, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2016, in a local hospital.
Jerry was born November 10, 1948 in Floyd County a son of the late Amos Gilham, and Louise Rollins Wade. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and a self employed logger.
Survivors include, two sons, Casey Gilham, Center; Jerry Wayne (Sylvia) Gilham, Center; brothers, Michael (Nancy) Gilham, Centre; Jimmy (Debbie) Gilham, Centre; sister, Glenda Bridges, Gaylesville; Grandchildren, Maggie Stanley, Brittany Mason, Jenifer Gilham, Kesley Gilham, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. (Ga.Time) Friday March 4, 2016 at Providence Baptist Church near Forney, Al. with Rev. Joe Kelly, and Rev. Scott Long, officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday March 3, 2016, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.' Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Jerry will lie instate at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM (Ga. Time)
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Jody Laney, Brian Rogers, Austin Rogers, Paul Cook, Shelton Robinson, Roy Robinson, and Logan Gilham.
