Julia Coalson Obituary

Mrs. Julia Wills Coalson, age 93, of Rome, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Coalson, was born July 20, 1922, in Polk County, a daughter of the late James Marion Wills, and Mary Lee Willis. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Mrs. Coalson was owner of Humpty Dumpty Day Care, in her retirement she loved to travel, garden, and fish. Mrs. Coalson was a well known Reflexologist . She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Coalson; brothers, William "Bud" Wills, James Wills, Fred Wills, Howard Wills; sisters, Lena Landers, Annie Mae Williams, and Maurine Meers.

Survivors include, sons, Ken (Marie) Coalson, Rome; Jerry (Sue) Coalson, Cartersville; brother, Charles Wills, Cedartown; sisters, Mary Yarbrough, Cedartown, Betty Perkins, Cedartown; grandchildren, Jay Coalson, Laurel (David) Crews, step- granddaughter, Emily Harold; great grandchildren, Mark Crews, Laura Grace Crews, Luke Harold, Lillian Harold; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 87 Salem Dr, Rome, Ga. 30165.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Lakeview Baptist Church, with Rev. Jason Willis, officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Lakeview Baptist Church, 87 Salem Dr. Rome, Ga. 30165.


Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the church by 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Barry Wood, Bradley Wood, Billy Wills, Jason McFry, Michael Wills, and Jay Coalson.
