Margaret Crider Obituary

Mrs. Margaret Mae Moore Crider, age 99, of Rome passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in a Rome Medical Center.

Mrs. Crider was born September 6, 1914, in Gadsden, Alabama a daughter of the late Richard DeWitt Moore and Susie Josephine Veitch Moore. Mrs. Crider was known for her Doll making and was known by the tomato lady of Horse Leg Creek Road. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Crider was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Crider, brothers, Millard, Alvin, Jack, and Charles Moore, sister, Inez Moore.

Survivors include, daughter and son in law, Martha Joan and Robert Cochener, Rome; grandchildren, Chris Niblett, Rome; Kay (Brian) Simms, Rome; Vicki (Steve) Wright, Rome; great grandchildren, Travis Nance, Colin Niblett, Calley Niblett, William Simms, great great grandchild, Wyatt Nance. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday August 15, 2014 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Bobby Stephens, officiating.
