Margerett Cordle Patterson
Margerett Cordle Patterson, age 88, of the Rosedale community passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Patterson was born June 26, 1927 in Floyd County, daughter of the late Lucille Broome Cordle and Will Henry Cordle. She had been a resident of the Texas Valley and Rosedale communities all of her life and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband C.O. Patterson October 21, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law Wanda and Richard Ryan of Rome; two grandsons Richard Ryan, Jr and Charles A. Ryan, both of the Rosedale community; a sister Edna Ford also survives.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 11 AM Tuesday, April 12 at East View Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Stephens officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.
