Marie Scoggin Obituary
Marie Terrell Scoggin, age 93, of 330 Old Dalton Road, Rome passed away at her residence on Sunday evening, April 16, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Carl Terrell and Clara Mae Priest Terrell, and sister of the late William Arnold Terrell. Marie was a member of the Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters Bobye Holcombe (David) and Kay George (Ron); two sons Robin Scoggin and Sam (Stephanie) Scoggin. Four grandchildren Darlon Ezell (Tommy), Luke Holcombe (Julia), Bradley Smiley, and Ashley Liggett (Will). Six great grandchildren also survive.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
