Mrs. Marilyn Fricks Gould, age 87, of Shannon, passed away November7, 2015, in a Rome Medical Center.
Mrs. Gould was born June 19, 1928 in Greenwood, South Carolina a daughter of the late Joe T. Fricks, and Essie Mae James Fricks. She was a member of Grace Fellowship, in Shannon, she was retired from Klompan Mills. Mrs. Gould was preceded in death by her husband James Lorren Gould, and a sister Betty Jo Neururer.
Survivors include a son, Carl Gould, Shannon; brothers, Fred (Frankie) Fricks, Shannon; James Fricks, Shannon; David Fricks, Shannon; sister, Brenda Patterson, Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 10, 2015 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel , with Rev. Haywood D. Clark, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service, on Tuesday, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
