Marjorie Lorene Barlow

Mrs. Marjorie Lorene Barlow, age 87, of Rome, passed away January 29, 2018, at a local health care facility. Mrs. Barlow was born on September 24, 1930, to the late Leonard and Clara Dover Reeves. Mrs. Barlow worked a number of years as a CNA at Sun Mountain Nursing Home before closing.

Mrs. Barlow was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Barlow, 3 brothers, Raymond Reeves, Leonard Reeves, and Milton Reeves.

Survivors include her daughter, Phillis Townsand, and her husband Bobbi, of Silver Creek, a son Robert Barlow, and his wife, Shirley, of Alabama, a grand-daughter, Amanda Barlow, a brother, Wayne Reeves, of Marietta, and a sister-in-law, Sybil Barlow, of Rome, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018, at 12 noon, at the chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with family sharing eulogy, and Rev. Herman Stamey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday February 3, 2018, from 10am till 12 noon at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are requested to be at the funeral home at 11:30 am on Saturday and include, William James, Wayne Reeves, JR. Russell Barlow, Namaan Barlow, Robert Barlow, and Bobbi Townsend.
