Mrs. Mary Edith Rogers Huether, age 83 of Rome passed away Friday March 2, at her residence.
Mrs. Huether was born March 5, 1934, in Gordon County, a daughter of the late Thomas Rogers, and Mary Cowart Rogers. She was a retired Registered Nurse, and liked to grow flowers, she was known to her family as having a green thumb, and a great cook especially her pecan pies. she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hueter, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survivors include sons, Terry Langley, Winne Bargo, MO; Ricky Langley, Greenwood, MO; Gary Langley, Calhoun; daughter, Sandra Johnson, Summerville; her beloved dog, Daisy Huether; grandchildren, Melea Wade, Nathan Langley, Zachary Langley, Samuel Langley, Andrea Langley, Shelly Jones, Brittany Henson, Nicholas Langley, Buster Edgeman, Scott Norrell, Paul Norrell, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Sunday March 4, 2018 at Fain Cemetery in Calhoun, Rev. George Nix officiating. The family will receive from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include, Nathan Langley, Samuel Langley, Nicholas Langley, Zachary Langley, Dusty Henson, and Jeremy Wade.
