Michael Clemones Obituary
Michael Duane Clemones, age 63, of Rome died Monday afternoon, September 25, 2017 in a local hospital.
A native of Rome, Michael was born February 3, 1954, son of Martha Cantrell Clemones and the late Duane Clemones. He was a graduate of Model High School where he excelled in sports, especially football. He was employed by W.M. Clemones Farm and Real Estate. Michael enjoyed old movies, fishing, and old cars.
Survivors include his daughter, Misty James; mother Martha Clemones; two brothers Rodney and Rex Clemones; two grandchildren Zoe and Luke; and his beloved dog Judy Ann.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 1 PM this afternoon at the Clemones Family Cemetery off the Morton Bend Road in Coosa with Reverend David Thornton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to P.A.W.S.
