Pamela Money Obituary
Pamela Joyce Canada Money, 61, of Rome Georgia passed away on December 13, 2016 after an extended battle with Alzheimer's.
Mrs. Money was born November 15, 1955 in Floyd County to the late Oscar Canada and the late Gussie Reed Canada. She graduated from Coosa High School in 1973 and attended Armstrong School of Beauty in 1977. She married Joe Money on August 31, 1984 at Garden Lakes Baptist Church. She worked at Shear Professionals Beauty Salon for 11 years and then moved to Inspiration Point Beauty Salon for 4 years before retiring to spend time with grandchildren. Mrs. Money had been a long standing member of Wilkerson Road Baptist Church and remained active in the choir until the latter stages of her illness.
Mrs. Money is survived by her spouse and five children: Gabe Holbrook and wife Sabrina, Joseph Money and wife Connie, Brandi Couey and husband Brad, Heather Warren and Martin Ray, Tiffany Robinson and husband Caine. She is also survived by one brother, Oscar Bruce Canada, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday 17, 2016 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Johnny Sisson of Wilkerson Road Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Jason Stockton of Life Church conducting the grave side memorial.
Pallbearers will be seven grandsons: Justin Warren, Caine Robinson, Blaze Robinson, Cole Couey, Corbin Holbrook, Mason Minter, Isaac Money. Also serving will be Seth Broome and Levi Broome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
