Roger Loveless Obituary
Rev. Roger Lewis Loveless, Sr., age 71, of Rome passed away Saturday October 3, 2015, at his residence.
Rev. Loveless was born May 2, 1944 in Chattooga County, a son of the late Mose Loveless, and Ruby Smith Loveless. He was the Pastor at New Zion Baptist Church in Morton's Bend. He was employed with Integrated Products for many years and a retired mechanic. Rev. Loveless was preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie Walters Loveless, daughters, Wanda Faye, and Rhonda Kaye Loveless, granddaughter, Sarah Grace Loveless, 6 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include, his wife Barbara Ely Loveless, son, Roger (Shawna) Loveless, Jr. Rome; daughter, Trudy Crowe, Rome; grandchildren, Jeffrey Farmer, Tristia Farmer, Katelyn Loveless, Journi Loveless, Amy Crowe, brothers, J.R.(Vivian) Loveless, Shannon; Bill Loveless, Rome; Bobby Loveless, Silver Creek; sister, Betty (Hoyt) Jones, Cedartown; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 7, 2015 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Crowe, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday October 6, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Carl Loveless, Jackie Money, Ray Sores, Rodney Loveless, Terry Loveless, and Dale Crump.
Honorary pallbearers include, Jeffrey Farmer, and Hoyt Jones.
