Ruth Carnes Obituary
Mrs. Ruth R. Carnes, age 92, of Rome passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 in a local health care.
Mrs. Carnes was born May 21, 1924, in Tallapoosa, Ga. a daughter of the late Harrison Reddish, and Fannie Fagan Reddish. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and retired from Integrated Products. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Carnes, February 23, 2010, brothers, Ernest Reddish, Glen Reddish, sisters, Annie Lou Mullianx, Ruby Tant, Bertha Mauldin.
Survivors include, her son and daughter in law, Junior and Sue Carnes, Adairsville; grandchildren, Chris Carnes, Shane (Cindy) Carnes and Candy Gaylor, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday July 15, 2016, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Rodger Whorton, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service on Friday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Shane Carnes, Lance Gaylor, Eric Gaylor, Zack Gaylor, Harley Fuller, and Hector Navarete.
