Shelia Fay Sharpe Mansfield, age 54, of Rome passed away Wednesday January 6, 2016, in a local hospital.
Shelia was born January 28, 2016 in Floyd County, a daughter of the late George Robert Sharpe, and Eva May Sharpe. She attended Rome First Assembly of God, she was a 1979 graduate of Model High School. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Shape.
Survivors include her companion, Arthur Cunningham, Rome; sisters, Susan Croy, Rome; Sharon (Tim) Matthews, Rome; nieces and nephews, Doug, Toni, Robert, Eric, Molly, Grayson, McKenzie, Katelyn, and Emma.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 10, 2016 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Levonne Humphrey officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaknoll Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday January 9, 2016 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165. at other hours the family may be contacted at residence of a sister Sharon Matthews.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Woody Sharpe, Blake West, Jason Sharpe, Michael Redden, Allen Snow, and Brandon Wigley.
