Tammy Newberry, age 56, of Rome passed away Saturday afternoon, August 6, 2016 in a local hos
Ms. Newberry was born March 29, 1960 in Floyd County, daughter of Truman Howard Newberry and the late Glenda Margaret McCullough Newberry. She had been a resident most of her life and had been employed with World Carpets and Shaw Carpets. She loved shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ms. Newberry was also preceded in death by a daughter Amy Brianna Smith and a brother Lebron Newberry.
Survivors include her father, Truman Howard Newberry; daughter Tonya Newberry and sons Joshua Smith and Joseph Smith; grandchildren Dustin Wayne Womack, Blake Newberry, Hannah Chloe Smith, Brianna Smith, and Dawson Smith. A brother Randy Newberry and sisters Donna McBride and Kim Davis also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue.
