Truman Howard Newberry, age 75 of Silver Creek passed away Tuesday November 22, 2016.
Truman was born September 6, 1941, Floyd County, a son of the late Clyde Newberry, and Bertha Estelle Cox Newberry. He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda McCullough Newberry, son, Labron Newberry, daughter, Tammy Newberry, granddaughter, Amy Smith, several brothers, and sisters.
Survivors include son, Randy (Debbie) Newberry, Centre; daughters, Donna McBride, Rome; Estelle Newberry, Kim Davis, daughter in law, Cynthia Newberry, a companion, Nikki Glaze, brother, Kenneth (Sue) Newberry, sister, Jane McCullough, half sister, Doris Murdock. 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 27, 2016 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Boatner, and Rev. Earl Vaughn, officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Seth Ashley, Blake Newberry, Joseph Smith, Tootie Wade, Randall Newberry, Steven Barnes, Rodney Alford, and David Lane.
