Frankie Johnson, 62, of Rome, Georgia, passed on Friday, April 19, 2024. Born to the late Frank and Margaret Parr Johnson, he was a devoted family man, deeply cherished by those whose lives he touched.

Frankie leaves behind a loving family: his son, Timothy Johnson and wife Wendy; his daughters, Amanda Johnson and Brandy Johnson; his cherished grandchildren, Jaylen Clemons, Gabriella Johnson, and Mariana Johnson; his brother, Audie Johnson; and his sisters, Diane Johnson, Sandy Craig, Patricia Jacobo (Hector).

Frankie was a man of many passions. He found serenity in fishing, a hobby that allowed him peaceful moments reflecting by the water's edge. Deer hunting was a pursuit of patience and skill, bringing him closer to the natural world he adored. His love for old cars went beyond restoration; each vehicle told a story of a bygone era he revered. Collecting antiques was a bridge to the past, where he connected with history and preserved it for future generations.

A steadfastly devout in the Baptist faith, Frankie's commitment to his beliefs was evident in how he lived—generous, kind-hearted, and always ready to lend a hand. He embodied the love he professed for his children and grandchildren, guiding them with wisdom and nurturing their growth with unconditional love.

Frankie's legacy of kindness, his deep connection to his roots, and his unwavering care for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

We will like to give a special thanks to Atrium Health ICU unit to all the nurses and doctors that gave excellent care to my dad, they went above and beyond to make sure all his needs were met, again THANK YOU!
