Angela Darlene Blackwell Lawler

Angela Darlene Blackwell Lawler, born February 22, 1966 to Melenda Blackwell and the late James Blackwell, passed away July 23, 2021 due to complications during her second liver transplant. She was a lifelong Floyd County resident, a graduate of Coosa High School class of 1984. She is survived by her son Zeke Lawler and his father Chris Lawler, her mother Melenda Blackwell, her sister Jeanie Tillery (Donney) and nephew Derrick Tillery. Angie was well known from her employment at Redmond Regional Medical Center, Duffy's Deli, The Forum Civic Center, and Belk at the time of her passing. As per her request, she is to be cremated. Visitation for friends and family will be at Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Rome, GA on July 31st at 12pm. Her memorial service, under the direction of Billy Murdock, will begin at 1PM. Flowers and potted plants are accepted. Please consider becoming an organ donor, as Angie would have asked. Angie was known by many, a stranger to nobody, and will be missed by everybody whose lives she touched.
