Mrs. Annie Dell Deems Ely Hutchens, age 88, of Rome,passed away Monday, June 19, 2017.
Mrs. Hutchens was born April 7, 1929 in Polk County. She was a daughter of the late John Deems, and Julie Mae Goss Deems. She was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Ely; brothers, Ralph, Willard, Belton, and Howard Deem; a sister, Mable Ely.
Survivors include her children, Jeff Ely, Barbara Popham, Debra Gaylor, Carol (Rev. Joey Motes); 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Willie Mae Ely; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joey Motes, officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour, on Wednesday.
