Arvin Holsonback Obituary
Arvin E. Holsonback, of Rome GA., died January 14, 2022.
He was born September 14, 1930 to Alton and Thelma Holsonback and lived his entire life in Rome/ Armuchee area. He retired from General Electric and served with the US Army during the Korean War. He was known as a "fix it" man and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being outdoors, in his later years he enjoyed just riding around and looking at his favorite places. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Idelle M. Holsonback and his daughter Jane Mathis.
Survivors include daughter and son in law: Diane and Tony Green, and son in law: Howard Mathis; 3 grandchildren: Suzanne Fulgham, Laura Mathis, and Stephen (Desiree) Green; 3 great grandchildren: Tucker and Emma Green, and Wesley Fulgham.
Private services will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Hampton and Rev. Mac McCurry officiating along with Military and Masonic rites. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family request mask be worn at service.
