Betty Snead Obituary
Mrs. Betty Yvonne Holtzclaw Snead, age 76 of Rome passed away Saturday June 18, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Snead was born December 15, 1939 in Chatsworth, Ga. a daughter of the late Carl Holtzclaw, and Lula Best Holtzclaw. She was a member of the Westside Family Worship Center, and retired from RCW. Mrs. Snead was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Holtzclaw, and sisters, Brenda Thompson.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (David) Gaudreau, Mary (Johnny) Grizzle, Jennifer Brown, Sherry (Jeff) Adams, Ann (David) Willis, son, Robert Holtzclaw, sisters, Judy (Vincent) Grizzle, Kathy (Tommy) Davis, brothers, James Holtzclaw, Tommy Hooper, 16 grandchildren, several of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 21, 2016, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service at 2:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, David Gaudreau, Jr. Christopher Roberson, Charlie Roberson, Mark Gaudreau, Jeff Holtzclaw, and Dale Brown, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers include , David Gaudreau, and Johnny Grizzle.
