Charles Ben McCain

May 9, 1935 - May 1, 2020

Mr. Charles Ben McCain, age 84, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Friday May 1, 2020 at his residence. Mr. McCain was born May 9, 1935, in Floyd County a son of the late Wallace McCain, and Melvina Armstrong McCain. He was a member of Coosa Masonic Lodge #622 F&AM he was a fifty member of the Lodge. He was employed by Pet Bakery, Fox Manufacturing, Camp Oil and retired from Seven Hills Transportation, as a truck driver. Mr. McCain was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ezell McCain, sister, Pat Comer, brothers, Clyde and Troy McCain. Survivors include his daughter, Debbie (Lamar) Blankenship, Rockmart; son, Jeff (Lynn) McCain, Rome; brother, Ed McCain, Cedar Bluff; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. In Keeping in accordance with federal and state guideline’s concerning the Covid-19 virus all funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Parnick Jennings, Sr.’s Good Shepherd Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
