Clida Elizabeth (Faye) Jones, age 65, of Summerville died Saturday morning, January 6, 2018, in a local hospital.
A native of Dalton, Ms. Jones was born September 1, 1952, daughter of the late James Aquilly Jones and Claude Ella West Jones. She was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly and loved going to church and playing bingo. She had a heart for God and others, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Ms. Jones was preceded in death by a son Lawrence West.
Survivors include her children James Kolak and Mary Kolak, both of Rome; Robert West of Greenville, NC and Robin West of Summerville; an adopted child Charles Doniel Kolak also survives. A sister Virginia Diane Jones of Rome, thirteen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Harrell Street Church of God of the Union Assembly, 66 Harrell Street in Trion, Ga. with Reverend Rocklan Hughes officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.
