Dannie Lynn Dodd, age 60, of Calhoun, passed away Monday June 19, 2017 in a Calhoun Health Care.
Dannie was born June 16, 1957, in Floyd County, a son of the late Richard Lyndon Dodd, and Elise Ruth Floyd Dodd. He was a member Newtown Baptist Church, in Calhoun.
Survivors include his sister, Patty Kelly, Calhoun, nephews, Shawn Stanley, and James Stanley, 2 great nieces and several cousins, also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday June 22, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Dodd Cemetery, in Plainville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour on Thursday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
