Mrs. Elzie Lee Allred Hodge, age 79 of Rome passed away May 29, 2022.
Mrs. Hodge was born March 6, 1943 in Gadsden Al. the daughter of the late Bertis Lee Allred, and Elzie Rhodes Allred. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hodge was preceded in the death by her husband, Roe Hodge Sr. a brother, James Allred son in laws, Charles Jarrett, Lee Roden, Van Hilderbrand, 3 grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Marie Jarrett, Elizabeth (Cindy Carter) Massey, Jenny (Glenn Stephens) Hilderbrand, Tammy (Rocky) Kinsey, Roe (Brittney) Hodge, Jr. Starla (Willis Vaughan III) Vaughan , Amanda Roden, 28 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 9 Great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday June 2, 2022 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Jonathan Fortner officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M.
Pallbearers include, Zachary Gentle, Christopher Gentle, Willis Vaughn III, Brian Stroup, and Austin Jarrett.
Honor pallbearers include, Timmy Price, Timmy Hilderbrand, Vance Hodge, Justin Hodge, Jonathan Price, Miguel Marrero, and Wesley Hodge.
