Erika Huether Adkins, age 78, of Rome passed away Sunday August 15, 2021 at a local healthcare facility.
Erika was born on July 22, 1943 in Floyd County GA., to the late Gottlieb Huether and Hida Roming. She retired from Salem Carpets. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Adkins, daughter: Cindy Witt, siblings: Georga Huether, Richard Huether, Edgar Huether, and Louise Burton.
Survivors include her children: Kathy Witt McCullough, Franky (Pam) Witt, Eric (Felisha) Witt, Timothy Witt, Joseph (Sabrina) Witt, Rodney Galloway; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, brother: Adolph (Mae) Huether, sister: Vera Worthington.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday August 23, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
