Ernest "Hollis" Ezell, age 78, of Cartersville passed away Thursday January 7, 2021 at his residence.
Hollis was born on September 4, 1942 in Cobb County, to the late Euell Homer Ezell and Mary Louise McCollum Ezell. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Wayne Ezell, Shirley Barnett, and Evelyn Ezell.
Survivors include children: Brian Ezell, of Taylorsville, Mike Ezell, of Taylorsville, and Dena Nichols, of Cartersville; grandchildren: Holly Ezell, Harleigh Ezell, Drake Ezell, Hope Ezell, and Dylan Nichols; four great grandchildren; mother of his children: Betty Ezell; sisters: Katherine Elrod, and Faye Leachman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Rabern officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville GA. The family will receive friend from 11:00 AM until service hour on Thursday January 14, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
