Mrs. Gloria Jean Davis Wagner, age 71 of Rome passed away Tuesday October 26, in a local hospital. Mrs. Wagner was born June 5, 1951 in Floyd County a daughter of the late James Davis and Jessie Ramsey Davis. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church, and was retired from Mar-Glenn. Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her husband, David Wagner, a daughter Mandy Bright. Survivors include her son, Mark Wagner, son in law, Anthony Bright, sisters, Connie S. Wright, Nancy Rogers, brothers, Ronnie Davis, David Davis, aunt, Mildred Walls, uncle, Melvin Davis, several nieces and nephews, cousins also survive. Graveside and interment services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 30, 2021 at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens, Dr. Charles Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday October 29, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165. Parnick Jennings, Sr.’s Good Shepherd Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
