Grover C. Collins, age 82 of Fairmount, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2016.
Mrs. Collins was born in Swickley, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Grover Collins and Ollie Collins. He was a retired welder and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
Survivors include his son, Scott (Gail) Collins, Silver Creek; grandchildren, Jennifer Cameron, Bo Craig, and Jessica Bragg, 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday December 8, 2016 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Scott Sheppard, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of the service, on Thursday at Good Shepherd funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road NE. M20 Atlanta, Ga.30326
