Gus Earl Newberry, age 74, of Rome passed away Saturday December 25, 2021.
Earl was born on April 2, 1947 in Floyd County, to the late Joseph Newberry and Mary Ann Williams Newberry. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings: JD Newberry, Leonard Mask, Joann Digsby, and Ruth Wright.
Survivors include his daughters: Hope Newberry, and Keisha Newberry; grandchildren: Kansas Grace, Harley Morris, Dillon Newberry, and Shawnta Wilson; sisters: Evelyn Boatner (Glen), Jane Bryan ( Connor), and Joan White (Von).
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday January 6, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service hour on Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
