Harold William Waits., age 64, of Rome, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, in a local hospital.
Mr. Waits was born February 28, 1957, in Carterville Georgia. The son of the late Elijah Martin Waits and Opal Nell Towe He was preceded in death by his sisters; Bonnie Garcia, Helen McKamey and Judy Elaine Waits; to brothers, Kenneth Waits and Stanley Waits.
Survivors include his wife Lily "Pee Wee" Locklear Waits, a brother Ray Waits; two sisters Marci Edmondson and Sheila Waits; a son Wayne Locklear,7 daughter's, Tabatha Tuck, Amanda Hightower ,Julianna Waits, Crystal Waits Martinez, Heather Hernandez and Misty Salisbury; numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 01, 2021, at Beech Creek United Methodist Church, with Rev. Wayne Locklear officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 11:00 AM until hour the funeral hour on Monday Beech Creek United Methodist Church
