Mrs. Hazel Robbins Ghorley, age 93 of Rome passed away Monday September 20, 2021 in local hospital.
Mrs. Ghorley was born October 20, 1927 in Floyd County, a daughter of the late Julius Robbins, and Roberta East Robbins. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Ghorley was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Ghorley, daughters, Brenda Terry and Sherry Hammitt, and several siblings.
Survivors include daughter, Rita (James) Lindsey, sister, Margaret Wood, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Way of The Cross Baptist Church, with Rev. Donald Lindsey, officiating. Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the Church.
Pallbearers include Benj Hammitt, Michael Terry, Zachary Davenport, Tyler Davenport, James Lewis and Dakkota Lindsey.
