Hollis Clyde Chapman (JC Chapman), Age 89 of Beaverdam, KY originally from Rome, GA where he was born and spent the majority of his life as a hard-working brick and block mason, passed away on December 3, 2020. He was born on January 17, 1931 to the late Jack Clyde Chapman and Lillian Gertrude Thompson Chapman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Jeanette Earlene Fuqua Chapman, one sister Barbara Ann Wilkey, two brothers James Corthel Chapman and Larry Lamar Chapman. He leaves behind one daughter and loving caregiver Vickie Manning, one sister Jean Eaves, one grandson Dennis Manning and his loving wife Belinda Manning, one granddaughter Sandra Manning, five great grandchildren Allie, Tripp, Joshua, Caleb and Aiden Manning.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
