Mrs. Imogene Thompson Walker, age 87, of Rome passed away October 31, 2021, in local health care. Mrs. Walker was born June 24, 1934, in Floyd County a daughter of late Robert L. Thompson, and Clara Bell Brock Thompson. She was a member of New Armuchee Baptist Church, she was retired from North West Georgia Regional Hospital. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, David Walker, daughter, Julie Hawkins, sister Eloise Thompson. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Walker, grandchildren, Zachary Holt, Rhiaanon Proudfoot, Allison Harper, Sara Walker, great grandchildren, Nate, Nick, Noah, brother, Harry Thompson, special nephew, Ricky Thompson. Private Graveside services were held at 12:00 PM on Thursday November 4, 2021 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Good Shepherd Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
