Inez Beaty Durham

Inez Beaty Durham, age 90, passed away on Saturday January 8, 2022. She was born in Fort Payne, Alabama, daughter of the late William and Mae Smart Beaty. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Durham, by her parents, by a brother, William L. Beaty, by a sister, Irene Greenwood and by one daughter, Drusilla Durham.
Mrs. Durham was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Joymakers, Sounds of Praise and a past member of the church choir.
Survivors include a son, Randy Durham and his wife Allyson, a daughter, Kathy Atkins and her husband Louie; three grandchildren, John (Rachel) Hardman, Jere (Jamie) Hardman, and Melissa (Jonathan) Hunter; five great grandchildren, Lilyan, Jaide, Audrey, Dru, and Wilson. Also surviving are one sister, Imogene Eberhart, and one brother, Roy Beaty.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Dr. Brady Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Funeral Home at 12 noon for one hour prior to the funeral. The family is requesting all attendees wear a mask and social distance. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Fort Payne Alabama.
