Jack Royce Lamar Stansell, age 67, of Shannon passed away Tuesday August 10, 2021 in a local hospital.
Jack was born August 29, 1953, in Floyd County a son of the late Riley Stansell, and Lillian Gowens Stansell. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Atlanta Gas Light. Jack was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Wade.
Survivors include his daughter, Jenny (Ronnie) Wilkerson, son, Jason Stansell, brothers, Ray Stansell, Donald McCreary, grandchildren, Cortney Couey, Elise Sledge, Dustin Wilkerson, Victoria Wilkerson, Justin Stansell, great grandchildren, Olivia Jones, Mason Couey, and Memphis Sledge, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday August 15, 2021, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
