Janet Fricks Obituary
Mrs. Janet L. Fricks, age 78, of Rome passed away May 7, 2017at her Home. She was born March 13, 1939 in Manhattan, New York to Connie Minford and Augustine Legrand, Sr. who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Fricks, in1994, by a brother Augustine Legrand, Jr. in 2001.
Mrs. Fricks was employed by, Trend Mills, Kmart, Beltone hearing aid, and finally Lowes where she retired due to health in 2011.
Survivors include a son Blair Fricks, his wife Tish, Armuchee; a daughter and caregiver, Jeanine Hunnicutt, and her husband, David, Rome; grandchildren, Joey Fricks, Amanda (Seth) Chaffin, Jennifer Whitley, great granddaughters, Arabella Whitley, and Anniston Chaffin.
The family will be having visitation from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday May 10, 2017 at North Rome Church Of God, with a home going celebration of follow at 3:00 P.M., with her pastor Terry Addis, officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen and are asked to meet at North Rome Church of God by 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, Joey Cross, Joey Fricks, Mark Abrams, Michael Abrams, Michael Skeen, and Brian Price.
