Janice Elaine Robbins Dodd, age 73 of Pell City, Alabama passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 in a Birmingham Medical Center.
Janice was born January 13, 1947, Floyd County a daughter of the late Willie Barber, and Mildred Johnson Barber. She was a member of Coosa Valley Praise and Worship Center. Janice was preceded in death by child Buffy E. Robbins, sisters, Janie Sullands, Ronda Sue Hadgens, Shelly Rebecca Hawkins, Cheryl Wand, brothers, Kenneth Alan Hancock.
Survivors include her husband Henry Dodd, children, Lonnie Robbins, Judy (Steve) Evans, brothers, John Hancock, Ronnie Hancock, Eddie Hancock, sisters, Thelma Blake, Tracy Hawkins, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday March 14, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Kelley, officiating. Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday March 13, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include, Joseph Hancock, Hank Harden, Jamie Collins, Johnny Blake, Eugene Robbins, Jackie Austin, and Brandon Phillips.
