Jeffery Todd Moon, age 51, of Rome passed away Friday February 17, 2017 in a local hospital.
Jeff was born June 27, 1965, in Floyd County a son of the late Jesse Emory Moon, Sr. and Ollie Tant Moon. He was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church, in Cave Springs, was employed by . Oglethorpe Power for 24 years, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janie Lockridge.
Survivors include his children, Elisah, Seth, and Abigail Moon, all of Rome; Brother, Jesse (Jo Ann) Moon, Jr., Rome; brother in law, James Lockridge, Harlem, Ga; nieces, Sheri Murphy, nephews, James Lockridge, Jr. Jesse Emory Moon III, Joseph Moon, girl friend, April Coomer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday February 20, 2017, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
