Jimmy L. Atkins, age 68, of Rome passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 in a local hospital.
Jimmy was born February 6, 1949 in Floyd County, a son of the late James Atkins, and Idalene Carr Atkins.
Survivors include sisters, Betty Ayers, Vera Saxon, a brother, Louis Atkins.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Billie Saxon, officiating.
