Joe Berry Astin, age 77, of Rome passed away Tuesday June 23, 2020.
Mr. Astin was born March 8, 1943, Atlanta, Ga. a son of the late J.B. Tucker, and Adell Sitten Tucker. He was retired from Gayley-Lord, and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Sheena O'Neal Astin, daughter, Stacy Marie Astin, brothers, Gary Astin, Billy Tucker, and Randy Tucker.
Survivor include sons, Ray Astin, Chris Astin, daughter, Lynn Astin, brother, Bobby (Robin) Tucker, sisters, Gail (Scott) Brown, Darlene (Terry) Crawford, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Towe, officiaiting. Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
