Joshua Lee Wigley, 36, of Rome passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 in a local hospital.
A native of Floyd County, Joshua was born March 5, 1982, son of Karen Wigley and the late Hubert Arnold Nichols. He was a graduate of Pepperell High School and was a country boy who loved the outdoors. He loved his family, anything to do with the outdoors, and pizza. Joshua never met a stranger,
Survivors include his mother, Karen Wigley; brother and sister in law Shawn and Kay Nichols; a number of nieces and nephews; best friends Timmy Bonds, Steven Chambers, Jenna Eads, and Brandon Hammonds; god children Paris Dawson, Kayden Dawson, and Anthony Baldwin, Jr.; adopted godchildren Brandon Robinson and Holly Robinsonand Joshua's girlfriend Jennifer Bailey also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Avenue with Mr. Shawn Callahan officiating.The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 PM until the service hour.
