Joyous Aneta Moody Walker, age 77, of Rome passed away Saturday March 5, 2022 at a local hospital.
Joyous was born on March 4, 1945 in Rome GA, to the late Eli Moody and Louise Dover Moody. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Jackie Moody.
Survivors include her husband: Mickey Walker; sons: Weldon (Deena) Walker, of Rome, Dean (Crystal) Walker, of Acworth, Kirt Walker, of Rome, and Lark Walker, of Rome; grandchildren: Madison Walker, Molly Walker, Dillon Walker, Brian Walker, Jackson Walker, Ben Walker, Kyla Walker, Bree Walker, Bethany Walker, and Matthew Walker; great grandchildren: Branson Walker, Cayson Walker, Lucas Walker, Holden Walker, and Decklin Walker; siblings: Fred Moody, Pat Huddleston, and Jane Crabb.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service hour on Saturday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Weldon Walker, Lark Walker, Brian Walker, Dean Walker, Kirt Walker, Dillon Walker.
