Mrs. Juanita Gail "Nita" Sullivan Bettis, age 77, of Rome passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Bettis was born November 28, 1943 in Smyrna, Tennessee a daughter of the late Barney Sullivan, and Winiferd Webster Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her step mother, Margaret Davis Sullivan.
Survivors include her children, Eric Todd (Marsha) Bettis, Richard Keith (Heather) Bettis, grandchildren, McKinsey Taylor Bettis, Gavin Aslan Bettis: Carol Rene Cotton her 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, sisters, Linda (Gerald) Sullivan Sudduth, Michell (Sergio) Sullivan Snider, Elaine (Tom) Lauth, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday January 22, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jody Brock officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
